In 1871 James McNeil Whistler, painted an 'Arrangement in grey and black.' Or better known as 'Whistlers Mother'. It became a famous symbol of Mothers or careers everywhere.

My name is Abigail Elizabeth Johnson, Known to all as Abi!
I was Lucky enough to be born a ‘Sandgrown’un’ Living my early years in St. Annes and being educated locally. I went on to continue my education at 6th form; studying Psychology, History, English Literature and Fashion. I loved the creativeness of my fashion ‘A’ Level so I decided
I would follow and study a degree in fashion at The University of Leeds.
My degree course included the study of fashion but also the fundamentals of design. On return from University I got to reconnect with Greg who I knew from school. Working at Leafy Lytham allowed me to further develop my design skills and undertook a course in garden design. Passing with commendations from the founder (Rosemary) saying to pursue garden design as I ‘absolutely have talent.’
I discovered I love plants and flowers; I had this fantastic opportunity to use my design background and my love for flowers to study a ‘Career Change Course’ at Tallulah Rose Flower School at Levens Hall. It was truly a life changing experience. Then here I am, ready for those next steps.

Alongside a glass of Prosecco, you can join us in creating the most amazing floral displays. If you like to do something different with a group of friends, or you have always just wanted to give it a go. Our workshops are the best place to give it a try.
We don’t just do floral workshops. Greg also has evenings where plants are potted and soil is spread about. He shares his knowledge on the seasons' very best.
